Background
MUBI is a global film streaming platform, production company, and distributor dedicated to bringing exceptional cinema to audiences worldwide. With millions of users engaging on their platform daily, MUBI recognised that even small improvements could drive significant impact. To stay ahead, they sought a solution to monitor customer performance metrics seamlessly and to deliver critical insights.
They were looking for the right data to guide their refinement of user engagement strategies, optimise platform performance, and enhance viewer satisfaction, but had hit a wall with analytics inside of their existing tools and turned to 173tech to set up their data stack.

Infrastructure: The insights from the data dictionary directly informed our recommendations for MUBI’s data stack. We identified opportunities to streamline processes, finding that most metrics could be batch loaded, significantly reducing operational costs.
