Overview: Despite significant investments in digital transformation, data adoption, and AI, many companies still face challenges in fully unlocking the business value of their data. Bridging the gap between data teams and operational teams remains a work in progress.
A 2024 Fortune 100 survey by New Vantage Partners highlights key areas for growth. While 23.9% of executives consider their company truly data-driven, compared to 31% in 2019, this reflects an opportunity to strengthen data strategies. Similarly, 20.6% report having a strong data culture, down from 28.3% four years ago, signalling the need for continued focus on fostering data-driven decision-making.
Businesses are eager to harness the power of data, and these insights reinforce the importance of aligning data capabilities with strategic objectives.
So, how do we bridge this divide?
