Objective

Inner Circle is a curated dating app that screens every profile to build a community of ambitious, driven and life loving singles. They were just starting their analytics journey, and so who better to turn to than 173tech, after all, our founding team put in place the analytics for dating giant Bumble.

Solution

We knew first hand that dating apps can produce petabytes of data (1,000 terabytes) each day and so whilst Inner Circle was only small when we started working with them, they needed a data infrastructure which could rapidly scale. The core of this was not only the right tool stack, but well-modelled concepts and a strong core set of tables.

Value

In just a matter of weeks we were able to set up Inner Circle’s entire data stack and model their core reporting around customer behaviour. While we did the heavy lifting on this, it allowed Inner Circle to hire their own internal team who then had a very clear guideline as to what ‘good’ looked like, how tables should be set out etc.
