Senior Data Analyst

What You Will Do.

You will be responsible for the management and smooth delivery of client projects. Your hands-on focus will be on analytics although you will have exposure to the whole analytics spectrum including data science and data engineering.

Act as a strategic advisor for our clients on data use cases and how to turn insights into actions in order to improve business performance and accelerate growth. Manage the communications with clients during the delivery of projects. You will help guide them on their analytics journey. 

Work with client teams to build data dictionaries with standardised KPIs covering both business and technical definitions. 

Design and implement data models (SQL), no-code extracts and custom pipelines (Python) to ensure efficient data processing based on clients’ unique business logic.

With input from our data engineering team, provide optimal infrastructure recommendations based on clients’ needs covering a wide range of open source and cloud based solutions.

Contribute to the setup and deployment of the recommended infrastructure using a wide range of solutions including SAYN (our open source data processing framework). Deliver automated dashboards using various visualisation tools.

Project Management: Strong interpersonal skills, you enjoy working in highly collaborative environments. Strong organisational skills and attention to details. You keep composure in fast-paced environments and deliver projects in a timely fashion.

Strategic Skills: Business-focused and ability to produce actionable insights. You understand how to use analytics to enhance business growth and performance. Ability to communicate complex and technical topics in a simple manner. Effective communication skills, both written and oral.

Technical Skills: Excellent SQL skills. You have a deep knowledge of the language and are fully proficient with it. Strong Python knowledge. You are comfortable writing code for various purposes such as data extraction, data science modelling, etc. Good command line skills are a plus. Knowledge of git (or any other version control system) is a plus. Knowledge of main analytics warehouses (e.g. Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery) and of the various open source and cloud solutions available in the analytics ecosystem is a plus.

Experience & Education: 3+ years in an analytics role ideally in the tech industry. A degree or master level education, ideally within a quantitative discipline, e.g. Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Economics, etc.

Other Skills: Strong ability and desire to learn. We work with a multitude of technologies and always strive to discover the best solution that can benefit our clients. Fluency in any of the European languages is a plus.

Interview Process

First Round

A 45-minute interview with 2 of our lovely team members. We will share with you the company culture, role responsibility and more importantly get to know you and assess your suitability for the role.

A Little Test

Following the success of the first round, we will send you a home test which should take around 1 hour to complete. It will cover both business and technical questions.

Final Round

A 45-minute interview with one of our co-founders.
